Host Family / Host College Student
Ministry

This ministry offers Host Families to those college students who choose Complete In Christ Church as their home church while they are away from home and who desire a Host Family. Many of our students are from Central America and other countries while others are from right here in America yet away from home.

Our church bus picks students up in front of Stevens Dorm every Sunday morning at 10:00 Am and our church van picks students up in front of Pryor Dorm at 6:10 PM every Wednesday night.

As a group, we plan fun outings, activities, meals together, etc. In the past we have done things such as going to Branson, Mo. to shop, Silver Dollar City, canoe trip floating the Buffalo River and we always have an annual hayride.

As individual Host Families, we keep in touch with our student on a frequent basis. We want them to know that there is a family near them that loves and cares for them by providing a family atmosphere while they are away from home. We keep them informed of church activities and provide transportation for those without a car, if our bus or van isn't running for that particular activity. If they have a need, we do whatever we can to help. Students love goodies in their dorms and a trip to Wal-Mart is needed at times.

As a church, we want our students to feel God's love through us by encouraging them in the Lord and letting them know we are here to help in any way we can.
